Microphone Amplifiers

Maxim offers a wide variety of low-power, highly integrated microphone amplifiers that feature industry-leading PSRR and ultra-low THD+N. An integrated microphone bias eliminates the need for an additional supply, simplifying system design and reducing solution cost. These amps are available in single and dual versions with single-ended or differential inputs.

The MAX9890 click-and-pop suppressor eliminates turn on/off transients that result in audible noises. The addition of this suppressor is essential to quiet audio performance when a conventional headphone amplifier with a large DC-blocking capacitor must be used.
