Wistron August 2006—Wistron, a Taiwan-based ODM electronics firm, awarded Maxim its Outstanding Vendor Award. The only semiconductor supplier honored with this award, Maxim was selected based on the scale of our business with Wistron, our quarterly “cost-down” performance, the large number of Wistron sockets filled by Maxim products, our excellent logistical support, and our overall good reputation as a supplier. ZTE March 2006—ZTE, China's largest listed telecomm equipment manufacturer, awarded Maxim its Best Global Partner award. This award is granted each year to suppliers which demonstrate superior performance in the their products, technical support, delivery, and overall quality. Fiberxon February 2006—Fiberxon, which designs and manufacturers modular, high-performance optical link interfaces for communications systems, awarded Maxim its 2005 Excellent Supplier Award. Quanta May 2005—Quanta, the world's largest manufacturer of notebook computers, awarded Maxim its Best Partner 2004 award . In presenting the award, Quanta's Chairman and CEO cited Maxim's outstanding leadership in power-management technology, and high-quality strategic production support when Quanta's material requirements increased significantly.
